OVERVIEW
Morgan Sound has been in the business of concert sound for over 30 years. In this period of time, we have developed an excellent reputation for delivering high quality audio services at competitive prices. Our personnel roster includes some of the finest audio engineers available, all of whom have a 'can-do' attitude. Our client list includes some of the top names in the entertainment business. Morgan Sound is pleased to introduce the addition of a new JBL Vertec Speaker system to our Sound Reinforcement Division. This system represents some of the best audio equipment available in the professional sound reinforcement market today. Morgan Sound is committed to the continued growth and development of our Sound Reinforcement Division, and with this additional hardware and a newly restructured management team, we believe we will meet our goal of 100% customer satisfaction in the months and years to come. The system consists of 24 JBL VT4889 enclosures powered by Crown MA5002 and MA2402 amplifiers. Efficient packaging is achieved through the use of Audio Analysts Tensalite Rack and Trunk Systems, sized for compatibility and truck pack considerations. All cabling is done via a Whirlwind Cable system comprised of MASS Model W4, W2 and W1 connectors that, in conjunction with the fast and flexible JBL Vertec rigging system, enable the system to be flown and wired in under 2 hours. 24 subwoofers, also powered by Crown MA5002 amplifiers, are the JBL Model SRX4719. Processing consists of racks of BSS devices, including the Compact Omnidrives, Mini-drives, compressors, gates and equalizers. The entire system operates under Crown IQ Control. Power Distribution includes two Audio Analysts 20 way, 3 phase distribution systems outfitted with rugged Hubbel-lock connectors. All suspension frames are outfitted with electronic angle finders with remote displays to ensure the operator can setup the system to precisely match the JBL Array Calculator callouts. The Array Calculator allows the system designer to accurately predict the sound pressure level at all seats in the venue prior to setup, thus eliminating the cost and time required to adjust the sound system speaker array after installation. This compact, high power system can easily handle large venues with smooth, uniform speaker coverage, consistent with the performance JBL Vertec users have come to expect. Custom transition bars are available to allow the clusters to hang in venues that cannot provide upstage and downstage rigging points, such as traditional theaters or symphony halls with permanently installed rigging points. The JBL Vertec systems in use worldwide are receiving rave reviews with regards to their sonic quality, high power output capability and ease of rigging and setup.
